Day Personality
Constellation Personality (Section Five—Character Six)
Today's "constellation personality" is Dipper (斗). It is the eighth of twenty-eight "lunar mansions" (宿) or "constellations." Traditional calendars state that it is a good day for building, opening trenches, physical labor, and even raising silkworms. Good stuff, people.
Jianchu Personality (Section Five—Character Seven)
The jianchu "personality" is Danger (危). It is the eighth of twelve characters in the jianchu cycle. It looks pretty good, from the color of the (red) ink. The problem is that it really isn't all that good. Pretty much everything that could go astray in your day...is likely to. Traditional calendars state that you might as well kick back, be happy, and drink wine.
