Day Personality

Today's "constellation personality" is Well (井). Calendrical interpretations stress that it is the widest of the twenty-eight lunar mansions (constellations), and it bodes generally, well, sort-of, in-between. While it is printed in red, it is listed as "unlucky" in some books. Hmmm. It is associated with death and ghosts (yet it is printed in red). Hmmm. Life is complicated in Lunar World.
The jianchu "personality" is Level (平). This character is printed in black ink, but it is really quite good. Go figure. It is a day for sitting back and contemplating—for really taking stock of your life (in a good way).
So, the black in is "good" and the red ink is "bad." Really? Wow.
