What is the use of running when you are on the wrong road?
—Bavarian Proverb
No worries, though—my name is Lederhosen Pug, and I (usually) know the way (知道).
But there is a "way" I have never seen before, and it was down in Brazil, in the World Cup semifinals last night.
7-1?
How does that happen?
And here's the problem. It was such a blowout that I am shaking in my little lederhosen. I'm not particularly superstitious, but have you ever had the feeling that something went almost too well?
Grandma Pug always used to say that we should hold something back for the next match. Grandma didn't know football very well, but she did know human nature (and fate). Did we spend it all in the semifinals?
I know for a fact that I am not the only "pug" in Bavaria (or Deutschland) wondering this.
Did we use up all of our "fortunate contingencies?"
Pug Nervous.
