And in order to cheer Tsuchida properly once he let's 'er rip (and flies to base), you need to wet those parched vocal cords.
You need a drink.
Yesterday we took a quick look at Japanese baseball food. Today, we'll consider some of the options for beverages at the ol' ballpark.
There is beer, and the ever-popular (if gender-challenged) role of the "beer girl" is to race to your seat as fast as Tsuchida flies to first (after he lets 'er rip).
There is harder stuff, too. A little sake might bring out the tastiness of your octopus snack.
And then, there is always the sweet soda with the (for English speakers) unfortunate name. Yes, you can always have a deep swig of Calpis.
Mmmm mmm. Delectable.
