But now that I have your attention, I would like to say that I think that the US News & World Report university and college rankings are utter nonsense.

Still...my home state of Alabama has four Tier-One universities (University of Alabama, Auburn University, University of Alabama at Birmingham and University of Alabama in Huntsville)...according to those stupid rankings.

This still makes me proud in an indefensible sort of way (and that has its own special ripple of pride). 

Roll Tide...Pride (we'll get back to 'merican football tomorrow, and until the end of my contract. 

Oh, and you have no idea who my successor will be next month. No idea.
