...and tell you that one of my favorite places in all of my French homeland is Mont Saint-Michel. Spectacular. 

And it just goes to show that low-tide/high-tide has everything to do with defense and military life. 

Heck, it wasn't even taken in the Hundred Years War. 

That's saying something.
